DESCRIPTION
This set was made from various materials. The base was made from a reclaimed wood palette to support large set pieces and puppets. The desert floor was created by covering the palette in cardboard and sculpted foam then, it was covered in modeling paste. That initial layer was then painted and covered in a light layer of glue and sand. The larger set elements you see were made of foam, polymer clay, and natural fibers. The backdrop for the daytime shots was made using fabric and the night shots were done using a roll of black paper with small holes cut in it.

DESCRIPTION
The puppet was made out of polymer clay, sculpting epoxy, wire, yarn, wood, and felt. The armature was made from wire and the body was made of a foil base covered in polymer clay to reduce weight. The eyes were made of painted wooden beads without a pupil so that they could be animated digitally. The hands and feet were made of wire covered in yarn and felt to add a softness to the final puppet.
